I have had the very fortunate opportunity to participate in the latest project by Photographer, Yael Ben-Zion. The book, published this year, deals with Intermarriage through subtle, intimate, and often haunting photos that capture something of the lives and experiences of couples who identify as “mixed” (racially, religiously, or culturally) or, as in my case, individuals who are impacted by “mixing”. It is a beautiful and enchanting collection.
Yael has just been interviewed in the New York times, where you can read about her process as well as see some examples of her photographs (including the one featuring yours truly).
